Pinecones Can Be Used For…
Of course, there are three food menus in Genshin Impact with pinecones. Here they are:
- Mondstadt Hash Brown
You can really use pinecones as the main ingredient to cook Mondstadt Hash Brown. This menu is also a food item that you can cook in Genshin Impact. You can also obtain the Mondstadt Hash Brown recipe by completing the domain ‘Temple of the Wolf’ after you reach Adventure Rank 15.
The recipe of Mondstadt Hash Brown is as follow:
- 2 x Pinecones
- 1 x Potato
- 1 x Jam
Based on the level of this food, Mondstadt Hash Brown food has 3 levels of quality, they are Normal, Delicious and Suspicious. For Normal level, this food can restore 32% of maximum HP and an additional 1,250 HP. For Delicious level, this food can restore 34% of maximum Hp and an additional 1,900 HP. While, for Suspicious level, this food can restore 30% of maximum Hp and an additional 600 HP to the selected character. It will not target other player’s characters in Co-Op Mode.
- Puppy-Paw Hash Brown
This is a special food that you can cook in Genshin Impact. You are able to cook this food, by completing the cooking of Mondstadt Hash Brown with Razor. As you know to get the Mondstadt Hash Browns recipe, you should complete the domain Temple of the Wolf once you reach Adventure Rank 15.
The recipe of Puppy-Paw Hash Brown is as follow:
- 2 x Pinecones
- 1 x Potato
- 1 x Jam
The puppy-Paw Hash Brown food will restore 40% of maximum HP. It will also give an additional 2,350 HP to the selected character. Just like most foods, it cannot target another player’s character in Co-Op Mode.
- Sauteed Matsutake
Sauteed Matsutake is one of the food items in Genshin Impact that you can cook. In order to get this recipe, you can obtain from Good Hunter for 5,000 Mora once you reach Adventure Rank 35.
The recipe of Sauteed Matsutake is as follow:
- 3 x Matsutake
- 3 x Flour
- 2 x Pinecones
- 2 x Butter
Based on the level of this food, Sauteed Matsutake has 3 levels of quality, they are Normal, Delicious and Suspicious. For Normal level, this food can increase all party members’ ATK by 194 for 300 seconds. For Delicious level, this food can increase all party members’ ATK by 228 for 300 seconds. While, for Suspicious level, this food can increase all party members’ ATK by 160 for 300 seconds to the selected character. This food will not target other player’s characters in Co-Op Mode.
Well, those are all food menus that will need pinecones as the main ingredients. It’s a great time for you to start finding the pinecones in some locations that we have mentioned above.
Where to Find Pinecones?
In order to cook some meals which need pinecones, you surely have to find the pinecones first. The pinecones commonly can be found in the wild. So, there’s no exact location where you can find them. But, there are some clues, indicating that the pinecones will be found in these locations as follow:
To get the pinecones, you should visit Qingce Village. This can be a first location where a bunch of the pinecones are located. To find this location, you use the teleportation waypoint by the village in Liyue. Then, you will find a bridge that will give you about 9 pinecones at any given time. To ease you reach the Qingce Village, you can also use the Genshin Impact map so it will lead you to the location.
The second location where you can find a lot of pinecones is Stormbearer Mountains. In this location, there is a cluster of pine cones near the Stormbearer Mountains Waypoint and behind the Shrine of the Depths near the Anemo Hypostasis. This location generally provides about 10 pinecones So check them under the pine trees.
You need to teleport to the northernmost waypoint on Stormbearer Mountains to find this location. You can then trek your way up to the Anemo Hypostasis boss. Along the way you reach the Anemo Hypostasis boss, you should run into multiple pine trees and pick a brunch of the Pinecones there. Need to know, the Stormbearer Mountains is the largest cluster in the area which is directly west of the Anemo boss.
Wolvendom is also a region in Mondstadt that you can visit to find the pinecones. However, this is an Andrius’ home, the wolf of the North of the Four Winds. You can find Wolvendom by heading directly north of Dawn Winery. Then, you will see numerous pinecones scattered around it. Well, that’s such a great location to get some extra pinecones to round out your inventory.
The recommended location to get pinecones is Cape Oath. If you visit this location, we guarantee that you will find plenty of pine trees with a near-endless supply of pinecones under them just to the north of the teleporter on Cape Oath. Need to know that this spot in Mondstadt can be a good location to farm some Iron Ore and Electro Crystals. That’s why Cape Oath is the worth place to visit in getting the pinecones regularly.
