The Story of Royal Greatsword
It is described that Royal Greatsword is an old greatsword which was possessed by the erstwhile rulers of Mondstadt. This claymore is made from the best quality materials. Also, it has stood the test of time. It is a weapon for use by royals only.
Based on the story of this claymore, it is said that Royal Greatsword is a greatsword which was used by a noble who ruled over Mondstadt. It was made by using premium materials and master craftsmanship. Because of that reason, after being passed down for generations, this claymore is still as good as new. Once, the nobles were responsible for combat. They protected their people from monsters which threatened peace and stability. Unluckily, they all forgot their responsibilities which changed them into very monsters that they once tried to destroy.
Based on research, gladiatorial combat came from a religious context during the rule of the Aristocracy. Now, it was outlawed by the Knights of Favonius and it started as a sacrificial ceremony which was held jointly with prayers to the gods. Then, the practice was changed into a perverted sport for the pleasure of the Lawrence clan and then it was abolished by the Knights. There are some texts of the original prayers which still remain.
