Starsilver is known as the newest addition to the game called Genshin Impact, along with the new region named Dragonspine. For everyone who wants to craft some of the brand new weapons from Dragonspine to save you money that are similar to the ones that you can pull through the gacha system, then it is time for you to hunt and farm a lot of Starsilver.
The Locations and How to Farm Starsilver in Genshin Impact
Just like any other ores in the Genshin Impact, Starsilver is everywhere in the Dragonspine region. It is so unfortunate that this one will not be able to be found lying around in Mondstadt or Liyue. However, you should manage to find some of them by using this guide.
Silverstar is named as one of a lot of different materials and currencies in the game. Each player of the game has to keep them in their inventories just to make sure that they have enough for everything they want to craft and purchase in the game.
If you want to discover the Starsilver, please look at the map carefully. The ore with gray or black color is not always easy to spot in the Dragonspine region that is covered by the snow.
- Starglow Cavern is the place where the Starsilver laid down. There are a lot of tunnels and paths that build the cavern hill. These kinds of places have plenty of this important material.
- The second great place to farm Starsilver is the area around the lake to the east of the Entombed City Outskirts. This one provides large groups of 5 to 6 rocks that will yield 1 to 2 Starsilver each.
- There is a peninsula that juts out into the sea located to the southeast of Skyfrost Nail. There are 4 to 5 nodes on it, which each one gives you up to three Starsilver.
- Another perfect place to hunt the Starsilver is the coastline all along the east of the Ancient Palace. It will have 6 to 7 nodes.
When you are on your way exploring the new area of Dragonspine, you will get a quest named Fastering fang. Once you manage to find 3 Strange Teeth, you will be asked to find 50 Starsilver. 50 Starsilver might seem a lot, but they are easy to collect if you follow the right path.
Due to its status as a rare ore, it needs 48 hours for the Starsilver to spawn. The amount of the time is actually similar to Cyrstal Chunks. Please do not worry as there are more than 50 deposits located around Dragonspine. The best way to collect the Starsilver quickly is by traveling along the outer edges and beaches of Dragonspine and the best spot is the top half edges of Dragonspine, where several nodes with high concentrated Starsilver deposits can be found. For your information, some deposits will even give you 3 to 4 Starsilver each.
Traveling along the outer edges and beaches of Dragonspine would help a lot to gather a large amount of Starsilver quickly. Speeding up is the key if you want to gather them quickly. If you want to do it, it is needed for you to equip a character that uses a claymore as a weapon. Some of the examples include Noelle, Diluc, and Razor.
The Uses of The Genshin Impact Starsilver Ore
Once you have collected enough Starsilver, you can visit the blacksmith in order to craft the new Dragonspine weapons that came along with the Genshin Impact 1.2 update. to craft the Warming Bottle, only 2 Starsilver are required. Meanwhile, you will need to get 50 Starsilver to craft each weapon, meaning farming a lot of Starsilver is really important for those who want to get these rare weapons. Another thing that you can craft is the Warming Botttle. Here is everything that you have to do to craft all of them.
Way to craft Dragonspine weapons:
There are currently two new weapons that use Starsilver to craft. The first one is called Dragonspine Spear and the second one is Snow-tombed Starsilver. You can only obtain the blueprint of the Dragonspine Spear once you have completed the world quest named Festering Fang. This one requires 1 Northlander Polearm Prototype, 50 Starsilver Ore, and 8 Vitalized Dragontooth. As for the blueprint of Snow-tombed Starsilver, it can only be obtained once you have discovered all the Ancient Carvings around Dragonspine. The materials include 1 Northlander Claymore Prototype, 50 Starsilver Ore, and 50 Crystal Chunk.
Way to craft Warming Bottles:
After leveling up the Frostbearing Tree up to level four, the recipe to craft the Warming Bottle will be able to be unlocked. All these items that can be consumed produce the heat for a short time with the aim to reduce the effect of Sheer Cold in the Dragonspine region. The problem arises when you realize that the Warming Bottles are not terribly economical as each one needs two Starsilver Ore and two Flaming Flower Stamen as well as 500 Mora.
