The commercial transactions in Genshin Impact can be done with Primogems. In other words, Primogem is such a premium currency that you can use for any purposes. As a Genshin Impact player, you may already know that Primogems have an important role in the game.
Considering the importance of Primogems, it doesn’t wonder if every player really has the strong invention to get Primogems as much as possible. However, once they get it, they will do anything with it to support their gameplay in Genshin Impact. Well, do you already know what the Primogems are for? There are two primary of the Primogems usage, they are:
- Exchange Fates
The first priority of the Primogems usage is Exchanging Fates. It means that the Primogems can be used to purchase Acquaint Fate or Intertwined Fate in Paimon’s Bargains or the Wishes (Gacha) menu. If you want to buy the Fates, you should spend about 160 Primogems each.
Here’s for the detail price:
- Intertwined Fate costs 160 Primogems.
- Acquaint Fate costs 160 Primogems.
We think that you’d better spend your Primogems on Intertwined Fates that you can use for the Featured Pickup Wish Banners. Need to know, those will have a higher chance of getting 5-star characters and also have a guaranteed 4-star character with 10 pulls.
On the Wish Banner, when you choose the banner you want and then make a Wish either a 10-pull or a single, the game automatically will use the required Primogems for the Wish after a screen prompt. While, if you really have any Fate for the selected Banner, they can be used first before the Primogems cost is determined.
Moreover, in the Paimon’s shop that you can see from the pause menu, you are able to use either Intertwined Fate or Acquainted Fate. The Acquainted Fate is used for the normal permanent banner, while the Intertwined Fate is used for event banners.
For more information, with the gacha system, it is always better to save your ingame currency to pull 10x at once. Of course, there will be a bonus of guaranteed 4-stars at least on 10 x pulls. It means that you are more likely to pull a unit. Aside from the cheaper banner, you’re able to pull twice.
For example, you can pull from the Venti’s banner afterwards. There will be four stars units which have increased chance. In this case, we try to take one character for a sample. Barbara who has an amazing hydro healer and a top party pick and hydro element also synergizes the best with other elements will give the deals with many burning opponents that you will fight now.
The second example, the 5-stars on the feature too quiet. Venti is an engaged attacker with a wind element and his attacks deal knockback. Need to know, this one is limited at 120 that can regenerate at a rate of 1 unit per 8 minutes.
Then, you may want to know how much the Primogems that you’ll need to refill Resin. So, here’s for the detail cost:
- 1st try costs 50 with an amount restored of 60.
- 2nd try costs 100 with an amount restored of 60.
- 3rd try costs 100 with an amount restored of 60.
- 4th try costs 150 with an amount restored of 60.
- 5th try costs 200 with an amount restored of 60.
- 6th try costs 200 with an amount restored of 60.
As long as the Original Resin regenerates, of course you will go through 180 resin per 24 hours, 1260 resin per week. Then it’s advised to spend Resin whenever possible to not stay at the cap, not to waste potential Resin.
For fill replenishment from 0 to 160, it will take about 21 hours and 20 minutes. Then, to see your current refill timers, you can click on the Resin icon on the top of the map screen. However, the timer will start once the amount drops below the cap.
Aside from replenishing the Original Resin automatically, you can also manually replenish 60 Original Resin at a time. Well, 1 x Fragile Resin can be used to restore 60 Original Resin. You can also replenish 60 Original Resin with an expensive amount of Primogems instead up to 6 times a day.
When you replenish over the cap, you will have a hard maximum of 2,000 Original Resin. Need to know, the Replenishing will not be available when the count is above 1,940 due to it will produce in values of 2,001 and above after refill.
To note, you are not recommended to use the Primogems since you can use the Fragile Resin instead if you desire to refill them. However, it’s better for you to postpone the use of Primogems for Wishes.
How Worth the Primogems Are in Genshin Impact!
In Genshin Impact, the Primogems are pretty helpful for anyone who really wants to obtain a rare currency so that they can obtain any adorable items. However, they are so essential to get a summons in the game. As you know that a summon can be used to get 10 Intertwined or Acquaint Fates if you really have enough Primogems which is about 1600 Primogems or roughly $20 in the game.
Well, you will be allowed to gather those currencies enough if you really want to open a door to obtain the bulk summons that you can use to increase your chances in getting one or more four star or higher items. Please note that you are able to do it if you buy the bundle of ten summons.
